The end of daylight savings and warm weather.... It's just a bit depressing!
In saying that, I love winter. I love curling up with a book, a blanket and now, my new cat Harry!
So to commemorate the end of the heat and to welcome the cold, I made a sweet treat that cured my chocolate cravings and left me feeling satisfied. Double, triple or quadruple the recipe, they last in the freezer for a while (or not, depending how hungry you are!!!)
Goodbye summer!

Goodbye summer!
Recipe:
1/2 banana
1 tbsp peanut butter (I use Kraft no sugar, no salt)
1 tsp coconut oil
2 squares dark chocolate (I used loving earth)
Cut banana into slices, spread peanut butter on one slice and put another slice on top.
Melt the coconut oil & chocolate in the microwave for about 15 seconds and roll banana bits in chocolate.
Freeze.
If you like thick chocolate, repeat the process of the coconut oil and chocolate again. You can roll them in anything you like - goji berries, chia seeds, coconut - the list is endless!
