A second post in a weekend - a new record for me! Adam is away, racing in Wangaratta, 3 races in 2 days (in the pouring rain). I couldn't think of anything worse actually. So it's given me a chance to do some cooking and trialing some new recipes. I purchased the Sarah Wilson IQS Chocolate cookbook. Although I don't advocate quitting anything, I really do like the recipes in there. I will try and "veganise" some of them and let you know how I go! I'm heading to the Fruit Peddlers in Northcote to get some goodies for my afternoon baking session. My parents are also coming over, so can palm off some of my banana cake on to them :-)
I have been researching alot into supplements lately and I am curious about the positive and negative effects they can have on the body. I am happy to be a little bit of a human experiment to test some things out! I was researching Creatine and there has not been a lot of solid research done on women who take Creatine. Creatine is one of the oldest and most extensively researched supplements, but most of the clinical trials are run on men.
So, any women out there who take Creatine? Any advice or words of wisdom or stories to share?

But how do women feel on it?
I've read: Bloated and fat! But then I have also read that for some women, it's the best thing they have ever used, increasing muscle mass and gym output power. I'm curious. I have ordered some off iHerb and can't wait for it to arrive. I do not plan on loading it, I just plan on starting a maintenance dose and sticking with that. I am happy to chuck on a few kg's because my weight has been stable for a few months now, even though I have upped my calories past maintenance I don't seem to be gaining any weight. The only thing is - I purchased new nobody jeans a few months ago. $200. These may not fit me very soon. The thought of that is quite depressing!
