WOW! I can't believe that my website is up and running! Before I go diving into everything, I thought I would take the time to tell you a little bit more about myself :-)
I currently live in Melbourne, Australia, with my boyfriend Adam. We have been together for 8 years and counting. No kids or pets, but hopefully a puppy soon - hint hint!

I am a primary school teacher and currently teach Preps who are 4 - 6 years old. It's a tough job, and yes I really love my holidays and the times I get to relax while everyone else is working, but trust me, it's well deserved! I am also studying Nutritional Medicine part time and it is a big load on top of work, but it's what I want to do, so I suck it up and get on with it.
I have a wonderful family & group friends who have all been very supportive throughout the time when I was really unwell, getting better and now of my new health and fitness goals.

I love everything about cooking and food, apart from the clean up as I am extremely messy, but thats where Adam comes in! All of my recipes are gluten free, dairy free (mostly) and usually egg free (I don't eat eggs but Adam does so I will sometimes cook with them). I love things with a good amount of protein in them and know that these are the foods that keep my body happy.
I have not always had a healthy attitude towards food and used to be happy to kick back on the couch during the week and polish off anything in sight. Then one day I realised that I didn't like the lifestyle I was living, changed the way I did things, started exercising and haven't looked back. Exercise and healthy eating are my way of living now, it's not hard. It takes a bit of planning, preparation and money, but I would rather invest in my health than in junk food. Adam is an avid cyclist and races in road races, which encouraged me to start being more active. I am up at 5:30 every day either at the gym, walking with a friend or devising new recipes, and have become the kind of person that cannot keep still! I struggle to take rest days off the gym, but I know that gains are also made outside of the gym so I am learning to relax a little.
